Stop Running Backward

It's Friday and we've been trying to work out the kinks in our games. We did a quick presentation for practice the other day and we got a couple good pointers from Mrs. Leef and Mrs.Neal. I posted the bonus screen including questions to the team wiki, but for some reason it turned out looking really weird and didn't have all the components I had put in the screen. I'm going to try and fix it today. I made some cool designs yesterday that we could possibly use in our game. I've been getting side tracked lately and I can feel slipping up is coming to me. I hate it.

Seperate Yourself

It's Monday, and I'm not in the greatest mood, cuz i just don't feel good. I've been a little sick since Friday morning. I will be ok I think. I'm just posting a blog to start off the week. We have come a bit farther and we will hopefully get some done by the end of this week. I'm also learning a lot about fireworks, and i still love it. I just think it's easy to use and can do a lot of different things. It's just a little side thing. Hopefully my day will get better. Let's watch.

You Would Have Done The Same

This week, I updated a lot and uploaded all the new stuff we were working on. Levels are done, the bonus screen is done, and shawn got a lot of the coding finished and rid the game of glitches as much as possible. Autumn is trying as hard as she can to find items and improve the levels if needed. I haven't heard much about Caitlyn, but I hope she's doing ok and I wish her and her baby the best :). I have been trying to work really hard and I've been trying to see what my life is worth. I haven't found a lot yet on the subject,but it's enough to keep me breathing. The game is turning out somewhat of what we wanted,but if it doesn't I don' t think I will care just because we are trying to make a game and making any kind of game is hard so as long as we get n it done then i will be satisfied, and even if it's not finished. We tried and that's all that matters to me.

Asleep At The Wheel

It's been a long week, but i'm almost done. I uploaded a bonus screen I made, but the thing is is that I'm going to admit I could have taken more time to make it look good,but oh well. I finished finding random objects for the school level finally. I think our game will turn out to be ok. Shawn is doing a good job on the coding and Autumn is doing good at picking up slack, I think it's a good time. I'm still trying my best, giving it my all I guess. I'm working some in fireworks and I still love it.

Sing Me To Sleep Tonight Sweet Juliet

Today I'm trying to find random items, more of them. We are going to need more if we are going to make these levels a little more complicated and just to make the game fun for the search and find process. I don't feel to hot today. I feel like passing out and me vomiting doesn't help that. So if I cut this entry short I'm sorry, I just don't feel up to all this. The show last night was great...Mayday Parade was amazing!!!! I never thought i would see them live in show,but It was great. Other then that nothing just finding random items...trying to figure out code.

I Set Myself Free

Okay, I am working on our coding,but we are kind of hitting a block. The actionscript we need to figure out is how to make things disappear when you drag and drop, you drag it and when you drop it, it disappears. Since our game has to have something to do with chemistry or the periodic table, I'm going to attempt to make a bonus screen to teach about elements and different componenets in recycables. We need to figure out how to make bubbles appear from an object when clicked so we can state facts about certain peices of trash or recycables. I'm trying to change the attitude on myself like I said before we don't know how far I'm going to get,but I don't have anything else to lose. The interview is tomorrow and they are going to speak to me about our game. I'm pretty nervous, but I'm confident I will do an ok job with presenting our idea as a returning veteran.

Loose Lips Sink Ships

Spring Break is officially done and over with and I can not exactly say I'm happy to be back,but let's just say it's not that bad. My team isn't here and I have no idea where to start or where I should begin my journey for the day. I didn't get a chance over break to get on and try to work on some stuff, and that's probably what is going to hold me back a little. My mom is doing good, she has become a lot closer to the family and to me. It's just like the old days right now. I'm going to try and do better in school,but I don't know how far this is going to go, wish me luck.
